Job Overview
We are seeking a Accountant and Administration Officer to join our team at RealBooks. The role combines accounting responsibilities with administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing financial transactions, payroll processing, invoicing, and administrative tasks, while maintaining compliance with accounting standards. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to the overall efficiency of our office.
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage daily financial transactions, including general ledger entries, invoicing, and payments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Prepare and file GST and TDS returns in compliance with Indian tax laws.
Reconcile accounts, prepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
Support administrative operations, including office supplies management, scheduling, and coordination.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting financial plans.
Handle enquiries related to finance and administrative functions.
Collaborate with other departments for cross-functional tasks as needed.
Requirements
Qualification: BCom Graduate
Proven work experience as an accountant.
Proficiency in accounting software, preferably RealBooks or similar.
Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
Experience with general ledger functions and account reconciliations.
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge and experience with GST and TDS regulations and returns.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
